Timex Heart Monitor

The Timex Heart Rate Monitor Review

The fitness world has seen so many brilliant heart rate monitors ever since Timex was first introduced. These are some of the most underpriced heart monitors around in my own opinion. They boast some of the most unique features existing nowadays.

These heart monitors were built for those people who take their workouts and training seriously. This Timex heart rate monitor review will evaluate 2 of the most successful Timex heart rate monitors that are proven to work.

The T5J031

The T5J031 was made for those people who take their training seriously. But it works well with those who do not take their workouts to heart. Countless Timex heart rate monitor review articles fail to state the features that everyone likes about it. So here they are:

•Alarm with 5 minute backup
•27 lap memory with average heart rate per laps
•100-hour chronograph with lap and split. Both available in large digits as well
•3 and a half year battery life, etc

This is, in my personal view, one of the most handy heart monitor watches available nowadays! It has all the features, listed above and more, needed to help you take your personal training up a level.

I’ve used this Timex model for some time and some of the problems I found with this one is that if you are new to owning a HRM then it would take a couple of weeks, if not months, in order for somebody new to get used to this.

The T5G971

There are heaps of Timex heart rate monitor review articles about this particular timepiece. A lot of owners admire it and a lot don’t. Then again, the T5G971 was created for those who go on regular runs and are only looking to keep fit and healthy and take things slow. Here are some of its renowned features:

•Measures your calories burned
•Has a Recovery heart rate timer
•Workout Review
•Heart rate sensor with adjustable strap
•Analog transmission communicates with fitness equipment
•Displays the percentage of your max heart

The only con I have ever come across with this heart rate monitor is that it, from time to time, gives an inaccurate reading of the amount of calories I burn and my heart rate bpm. Despite that, it’s nothing that can’t be fixed. All in all, it is a cheap HRM and it does the job so it is more than worth the money.
