help me understand these calories from exercise?
Hi, I’ve got a stationary bicycle. one hour of exercise states I burned 150 calories. My heart rate monitor watch that has my weight, age having a belt around my chest states I burned 850 calories. The web sites quote between 800-1200 calories each hour for any fixed bike.
Like me counting my usage of calories, would you help me understand basically should use 150 or 850 being an input for exercise.

to include. I believe I’ve set my bike based on my maturityOrfat also, however i wouldn’t put my cash on it.
I am 207 pounds and was making the rounds 8-9 mph average (keeping within body fat burn zone with my watch)

It is dependent how much you weigh and just how hard you pumped for any solid an hour. For any 200 lb person cycling at 8 miles per hour they burned 500 calories.
Your stationary bike may be looking for normal weight persons?
